When it Comes to Traditional Food Sources, Acorn Can't Be Beat!

High in protein, complex carbs, healthy fats and lots of fiber, there's no doubt about it; Acorn is a Superfood, and traditional cultures knew it! Everywhere there are oak trees, people ate acorn. It was a staple food that kept them alive and sustained them, and The People knew acorn helped them grow strong and stay healthy. Now, that knowledge has been all but forgotten.

What's the difference between Acorn and modern superfoods? This one can't be found in expensive stores and organic boutiques. Acorn is right in front of you, falling from the sky like manna from heaven, completely free, just waiting to be noticed.

All it takes from you is a little bit of time, effort and energy to turn this "everywhere you look" nut into a delicious gluten-free food that will fill you up and keep you going all day long.

So Why Don't People Eat Acorn Anymore?

The truth is, there is so much misinformation about acorn that people no longer realize how easy it is to turn acorn into delicious food.

There are so many myths about how processing acorns takes huge amounts of time, tons of energy, and it can only be used for a heavy, barely edible bread, something called ash cakes that you cook on a fire, or a nasty sort-of gruel that must be forced down or covered in maple syrup to make edible. A lot of people even thinks acorns are poisonous!

The Truth is, Acorn is EASY!

Acorns are simple to process, a snap to leach, quick to grind and a cinch to store. Turning acorns into flour, and acorn flour into delicious food has never been faster or easier, and you can do it right in your own kitchen.

We've taught thousands of students just how easy it is to process and prepare acorn at home, and we want to teach you too!

Every year we hear the same thing...

"I definitely want to try that some day when I have the time."

When we ask, 'How much time do you think you need?" The answers blow our minds.

So if you are one of the many people who imagine that processing acorns means you need to leave them for a week in a burlap sack in a running stream, or fill some old panty hose full of nuts to hang in your toilet tank (and stain the bowl brown while you're at it) or clear out an entire room to dry your acorns spread out all over the floor, or even stand over the stove while you keep your acorns in a never-ending stream of changing pots of boiling water, we have great news for you!

Acorn can be easily and quickly processed right in your kitchen, and all you'll need is a sink & a strainer, or a jar. Oh, and it will only take a few minutes of your time. Does that sound like you need to block out days or weeks or who knows how long to get it done? We promise, it does not.

Meet Eddie & Julie

When we started Practical Primitive in 2007 we never imagined how popular our Acorn Processing workshop would become. Since then we've taught thousands of students from around the world all our best-kept Acorn Secrets.

How do we know they're the best? Because we spent years experimenting! We had plenty of disasters along the way (stone grit-filled breads, tannin-locked masses of goop and rock hard pizza crusts, to name a few!) But in the end we developed the two most effective and efficient methods for processing acorn at home, and we want to share them with you!

Since we released our recipe book, Acorn: Recipes for the Forgotten Food in 2015, there has been more and more acorn information available online. But our course will cut through all the misinformation, inefficient myths and more-trouble than-they're-worth "hacks" to provide you with everything you need to know, including our two specially-designed leaching processes, to create high-quality acorn flour every single time. All in less than 90 minutes!

Remember, we're here to help you succeed! If you have questions or need an extra hand, we'll answer all your calls and emails personally!

You Can Keep Waiting For "Someday"

Continue to waste time, put it off, have cupboards full of sprouted, moldy, weavil-eaten unprocessed acorns or spend excess resources using inefficient "make work" methods that provide inferior results.

Or You Can Choose NOW to Begin!

You can stop wasting time, avoid all the hassles, work efficiently, and fill you cupboard with plenty of high-quality, calorie-dense food that will see you through good and bad times, year after year.
